The fish was incredibly fresh and prepared so well that I actually loved everything--something I never thought I'd say! The chef was incredible-not only skilled but also engaging and fun, making the entire experience even more memorable. My party of three had an amazing time, and we left already talking about when we'd come back. If you're hesitant about omakase or raw fish, trust me--this place will change your mind! Everything was outstanding, from the service to the presentation to the flavors. Also, come early to snag a good seat! “ What a great experience and value ! The staffs are extremely friendly and can't beat the price of $69 for 18 course and a dessert plus all you can drink sake. It may not be the expensive sake but hey it's better than paying additional for it. This sake also goes down smooth. I went in with very low expectations but is better than other places I've been to in the city. The place is huge with multiple seating. Some pieces surprised me on the menu including wagyu uni and fatty salmon with foie gras. Although the pieces are small but for 18+1 dessert and after a few rounds of sake, we were stuffed. We had to make reservation in advance and were seated at the 5 pm seating. I would definitely go again. ”

“ Had an amazing 2025 Valentine's Day lunch with my boyfriend. Service was friendly and lots professional. Food delicious and great amount price especially since it included endless sake! Ambience is clean and comfortable. We arrived for lunch little early and had to sit in the corner to wait and we got them to set up. For lunch on Valentine's Day they only had the place half full. But they sat a couple right next to us. I kind of wish they left a seat open between us. Besides that everything else was amazing! After the meal got started the free sake started coming and the servers are very generous with the pours. Always watching and refilling, I never had to ask once! We planned on day drinking so we really appreciated it. All do the sushi was delicious. Nothing that was mind blowing but for the price it satisfies my omakase craving more than enough! My favorites and most memorable ( since i was drinking away ) pieces were the Kampachi, ikura, mackeral, and wagyu with uni. The kampachi was yummy and I liked the texture and yuzu on it. The ikura was really refreshing and crunchy compared to other ones I've had in a while. Mackeral because I just like it although my bf said it was just okay, and I remember the wagyu beef being juicy and very beefy, flavorful,and oily. At the end of the day it will depends on what sushi you like and there was a good variety. Lastly shout out to Viego who made our lunch so much fun. I don't remember when we started talking to him but he made sure our sake was full and we drank a lot and pretty fast sometimes taking the full glass. By no means were we wasted tho, we were still respectful. By the end of the meal most of us were at a nice tipsy and very satisfied. I accidentally walked into the bathroom while someone else was inside and we had a good laugh. The vibes were really nice overall, and we look forward to coming back! “ (3.5/5) trying to eat our way through all of the under $100 omakase spots in NYC. koi was my first omakase spot in brooklyn, though it's very conveniently located near the barclay's center / atlantic terminal. for $69, you get an 18-course meal + unlimited sake which is an amazing deal! the 18-courses are made up of 15 nigiri, botan ebi atama miso soup, temaki hand roll, and a koi special dessert which, in our case, was matcha ice cream with red bean. one seating is for 75 minutes. we booked a reservation for 1:00 pm on a saturday and after being seated, we were quickly served water and the start of our complimentary sake (the house sake was actually very easy to drink and quite light). the sushi chefs continued prepping the fish, and we waited about 15-20 minutes before the first piece was served. not sure if that's typical, but the wait felt particularly long since we were so hungry! the pieces of fish on each nigiri were of a good size; however, the flavors were a bit monotonous and the chef went a bit heavy-handed with the wasabi. multiple people at the counter requested that they get less wasabi on their pieces (not sure if it was because of the quality of the wasabi that made it feel stronger or if the pieces actually had too much on it). all in all, you get a good deal for the price you're paying! ”

“ We were able to make a same day reservation for 5 PM. Most of the other times were already fully booked that day, but the restaurant was not full for our seating. There were 3 chefs and each chef was serving maybe 6-8 guests. The service is fast and friendly. The counter is large and wraps around the restaurant in an oval. Our chef told us what each item was, but did not make much conversation outside of that. The quality of fish was good, and I enjoyed every piece. The quality and portion of fish is consistent with what I've had at other affordable omakase places, but they did not include a lot of rice with their fish which made it not as filling. It was $69 for 18 courses and sake in 75 minutes. The 18 courses included a soup and small dessert. Even though it was 18 courses, I definitely could've eaten a lot more after. I didn't drink, so the free sake didn't entice me, but my friend got a glass of free sake. I would come back here, but would also try other affordable omakase places. ”

“ Budget friendly omakase spot in Brooklyn. $68 for 18 courses and unlimited sake! You have 75 minutes so it was quite fast paced. It was relatively easy to get a reservation. Very chill omakase spot for casual catch up with friends. The interior was quite dark inside. Fishes were pretty fresh. The rice was a little too sticky and soft. I wasn't amazed by it but the omakase did get progressively better. The chefs tells you the name of the fish and that's about it but understandable since they only have 75 minutes for 18 courses. Definitely worth checking out if you're around the area or looking for a budget friendly omakase. ”
